Philmont Weeks 4 and 5

This place keeps getting to me. It's absolutely stunning in every way possible and it's just hit me that I'm finishing up week 5, which means the summer is half over. But it's time well spent and I still have a lot more spending to do. Here are some shots from the past couple weeks--enjoy!

The program includes spar pole climbing, railroad tie making and an evening campfire overlooking the Tooth of Time.

Philmont Weeks One and Two

This summer I'm working at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico as a photographer. This basically means I'm getting paid to play in one of the most beautiful places ever for the summer. Here are some of my favorite frames from my first couple weeks of work!

This week I got to tag along with a couple of my friends while they did some mountain biking. I've been getting really interested in the work that Red Bull Media House does with all their biking and snowboarding and adventurey stuff, so I've been wanting to try shooting something like this. It was loads of fun and I think I might get to go shoot again next week--fingers crossed! Here's some of the stuff I got. :)
